Meaghan and Matt celebrated their wedding day amongst friends and family at The Blue Heron in High Point, NC in September 2022! They said “I Do” with a simply elegant design and love filling the air. We absolutely loved their wedding day and we wanted to share just a glimpse of it with you.
After meeting through mutual friends, Meaghan and Matt’s relationship grew to love. Following an intimate engagement at home they began to plan their wedding day. Choosing the Blue Heron for its lakeside photo ops, terrace and stunning Oakview Grand Hall, they knew they had found the perfect place to host their wedding day!
The Ceremony
On the day of their wedding the bridal parties gathered to get ready at The Blue Heron surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Their ceremony design was elegantly beautiful, incorporating a sheer drape with twinkle lights cascading over our windows, which provided the most beautiful soft lighting and backdrop for their ceremony space. The same backdrop was then used for the reception with the couple’s sweetheart table perfectly nestled in front of it.
Terrace Cocktails & The Reception
Cocktail hour was hosted on our Lakeside Terrace as Meaghan and Matt snuck off for some lovely photos along the lake pathways and bridge.
Pepper Moon Catering served up a wonderful cocktail hour and reception dinner providing guests with amazing food and drinks throughout the event!
The reception started with a fun entrance by the bridal party and as the newlyweds entered they were all smiles and full of excitement to celebrate with their guests. After heartfelt speeches and joyful memories shared, dancing became the focus of the evening!
