Lakeside Terrace Grand Opening
After much planning, design and renovations, The Lakeside Terrace at The Blue Heron has come to life! We were so excited to host a grand opening celebration to show off the new space and all it has to offer! The amazing fall lakeside views created a beautiful backdrop for guests to enjoy while they mingled, sipped on feature cocktails and tasted some of Pepper Moon Catering’s masterpieces.
Our Grand Opening of the Terrace was a treat with many of our favorite North Carolina event vendors joining in on the festivities. Set with a fall theme in mind our 200+ guests enjoyed specialty drinks like a Ginger Apple Cider Mule, delicious hors d’oeuvres, a cigar bar with whiskey pairings, string lights, creative fall decor inspiration and much more!
Before the hustle and bustle of our event began, we took some quiet moments for a styled bridal shoot to help brides envision their perfect day spent at The Blue Heron! Vendors featured:

As the venue filled with laughter and excited voices, guests were led through multiple indoor corporate and social event setups to help them envision how to use our space before heading to the Lakeside Terrace to see the new area. The fall themed decor and color palette was designed by our event planners from A Touch of Southern Events. Their amazing vision paired with the creativity of the participating vendors made for an amazing event design! We featured a mini ceremony area, cigar lounge, bar, stage with a band, food stations and gathering areas to help all who visited see how the space could work for their next event.
Our space overlooking the water is very versatile! You could utilize it for a social cocktail party, afternoon meeting break, team building activity, luncheon, social gathering, wedding exit, wedding ceremony wedding cocktail hour and much more.
We are so thankful for everyone who stopped by to see our new Lakeside Terrace and take in the beautiful surroundings! It is truly an unexpected oasis in the heart of the Triad.
